XD Anything akward, strange, random, or weird ever happen to you at a convention? A question? A person asked you something random? Asking you to pose in a strange way? Kiss your friend?
Or did you ask someone something that they were like: WHAT?! to?
Well, there was this one thing at Anime North '06. I was dressed as Kratos Aurion from Tales of Symphonia on the Saturday, and I was kind of tired from the con and just sitting outside with some friends I'd met for the first time earlier that day. Suddenly, out of nowhere, one of them yelled "GET HIM!!" and I had about half a second to dive for cover before 4 or 5 people glomped me at once.
My friend and I refer to it as the "Chilling Tree Incident", named after the tree we were all sitting under at the time.
One of them got a picture of it. I'll see if I can hunt it down somewhere if anyone wants to see.
The most random thing that have happened to me at a con happened at D-tac 2006 I just walked through the door and after being asked for a pic, some random sai cosplayer runs up screaming and glomps me lol *hugs kazey* it was awesome and the beginning of a beautiful friendship XD
i had a strange experance an AN06, i wasn't cosplaying but some dude asked if he could get some pics, cus he thought my costume looked sick, then he snaped off like 30 pics,it was so random cus i wasn't even cosplaying, i was in my normal every day clothing

I was at the Animethon in Alberta and I was cosplaying as Haruno Sakura, some girl came over to me, took my hand and spoke Japanese to me (I was sure at the time what she said) and I was like "Ummm..." and shes like "gomen...your name?"
So I told her my name and then she said something else and kissed my hand walking away XD
Later on when i went online, she set up a thread saying she was going around telling ladies that they were beautiful <3 it was soo cute!

DTAC - A Hinata kissed my nose and ran away A random person glomped me and I fell into a table A creepy Shino followed me around and said the creepiest things *shudder* I kissed one of Jeremy's friends on my way to the ladies room I got picked up randomly by a giant Kiba
MTAC - I kissed another one of Jeremy's friends Creepy Shino made another appearance I suffered a Marylin Monroe moment Got glomped randomly and smashed into a wall Got glomped randomly and got decked in the neck with a sword hilt I was dancing with a KH cosplayers (random Kiki fun to it all xD;; ) and a random org. XIII member started dirty dancing with me xD *laughs*
